This product supports parasitic<\/strong> loading of the gastrointestinal tract in dogs, including worm pressure and protozoan loading such as Giardia. More powerful formula for dogs that need extra support. Not suitable for cats.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

How does Intense Parasite Guard work?<\/h2>\n

The operation of Intense Parasite Guard is based on several mechanisms at the same time. Oregano and thyme contain carvacrol and thymol, phenolic compounds that destabilize bacterial and protozoan cell membranes and disrupt biofilm formation. Cinnamon leaf disrupts enzyme systems of parasites via cinnamaldehyde. Pumpkin seed oil and quassia act on the intestinal environment through bitter and amino acid mechanisms. <\/p>\n

By dissolving in MCT oil, the active components are better absorbed through the intestinal wall and the formula is more stable than aqueous solutions. Lavender and Roman chamomile reduce the tingling that more powerful oils can cause in the gastrointestinal tract. <\/p>\n
