This product supports with:<\/strong> grief after the loss of an animal or human, changes in the family (divorce, death, new family member), withdrawn behavior, emotional flattening and restlessness without a clear physical cause. For dogs, cats and people. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

How does Grief Support work?<\/h2>\n

Grief and loss activate the same neural circuits in animals as in humans: the amygdala registers the loss, the prefrontal cortex becomes overloaded, and the autonomic nervous system remains in a state of heightened alertness for a long time. Animals cannot process or name this state cognitively, but show it in behavior: withdrawing, eating less, searching, or no longer responding to familiar stimuli. <\/p>\n

Smell reaches the limbic system directly through the olfactory nerve, without the cognitive filter. This makes aromatherapy neurologically useful in emotional processing. Grief Support is not intended to suppress or numb emotions, but to support the nervous system so that processing at the animal’s own pace becomes possible. <\/p>\n
