How does Discomfort Support work?<\/h2>\n

Physical discomfort and pain always have a neurobiological component. Nociceptors signal tissue stimulation via the spinal cord to the brain, but the pain perception itself is also partly determined by the autonomic nervous system and the emotional state. Animals that are tense due to pain experience that pain more intensely and recover more slowly. Relaxation of the nervous system is therefore not only comfort, it contributes to actual recovery. <\/p>\n

Discomfort Support works topically and via inhalation. Copaiba (beta-caryophyllene) inhibits prostaglandin synthesis via CB2 receptor activity, the same mechanism as classic anti-inflammatories but without the gastrointestinal side effects. Ginger activates TRPV1 heat receptors in muscle tissue, which promotes relaxation and blood flow. Marjolein supports the relaxation of smooth muscles and pain perception.
