Gut Support works on two levels simultaneously: the microbiome and the intestinal wall. Saccharomyces boulardii is a probiotic yeast. Because it is a yeast and not a bacterium, it is not killed by antibiotics. This allows it to support the gut flora specifically during and after a course of antibiotics. Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG is one of the most extensively researched probiotic bacterial strains.
