Intracellular Microbe Protocol

When complaints persist, even after treatment

Integrative support for persistent intracellular loading

For dogs & cats – always in addition to regular veterinary care

Do you recognize this in your animal?

Does your dog or cat continue to have complaints, while examinations or treatments seem to have gone “well”?

Many owners recognize one or more of these signs:

Then there may be persistent intracellular load.

What are intracellular microbes?

Some microorganisms have the ability to hide inside body cells. This makes them more difficult for the immune system to reach and can cause long-term complaints.

Examples include:

The problem is often not only in the microbe itself, but in the long-term dysregulation it causes.

Why complaints persist

With prolonged intracellular stress, the body often gets stuck in a state of continuous defense. This can lead to:

The Intracellular Microbe Protocol therefore focuses not only on the microbe, but especially on the body that has been under pressure for a long time.

What is the Intracellular Microbe Protocol?

The NGD Care Intracellular Microbe Protocol (IMP) is a phased, integrative repair protocol that supports the body in:

Always in addition to regular veterinary care.

The structure of the protocol

Phase
1

Immune & Inflammation Stabilization

(4 weeks)

In this phase, we first calm the body. Without this step, further support is often ineffective.

Purpose of Phase 1

Support in phase 1

Lactoferrin
Lactoferrin supports the immune system by regulating inflammatory processes and supporting macrophages. In addition, it helps block viral and bacterial attachment to cells, without overstimulating the immune system.

Myco Immune Complex (Mushroom Mix 1)
This combination of medicinal mushrooms helps balance the immune system rather than boost it. This is essential for chronic complaints where the immune system has often been overactive for a long time.

PEA Complex (PEA & Boswellia)
PEA and Boswellia have an anti-inflammatory effect and support the nervous system. They help the body to get out of a constant ‘alarm mode’ and reduce neuroinflammation and pain sensitivity.

This phase forms the foundation of the entire protocol.

Phase
2

Controlled support for microbial load

(8 weeks)

Only when the body is stable, the focus shifts to supporting clean-up processes.

Purpose of Phase 2

Support in phase 2

Para Clean (NAC & Berberine)
NAC supports the production of glutathione, an important antioxidant produced by the body, and helps to break down protective structures around microbes. Berberine provides controlled antimicrobial support and helps regulate inflammatory processes.

Lactoferrin
Remains important to keep the immune system stable and prevent excessive inflammatory reactions during this phase.

Myco Immune Complex (Mushroom Mix 1)
Supports a balanced immune response and helps the body clean up in a controlled manner.

PEA Complex (PEA & Boswellia)
Remains essential to dampen inflammatory and stress responses and prevent relapse.

Essential oils – Microbe Guard
Within this protocol, essential oils are deliberately used via two different routes, because they have different mechanisms of action

Oral application
When used orally, essential oils support the body from the inside out. They help create an unfavorable environment for microbes and support systemic processes.

Diffuser (inhalation)
Through inhalation, essential oils act directly on the nervous and limbic systems. This supports stress regulation, immune balance and respiratory pathways.

For optimal performance, both applications are combined, because they complement each other but do not do the same.

Ozone therapy (optional, guided)
Ozone therapy supports the body by activating natural repair pathways, such as antioxidant and inflammation-regulating mechanisms. In addition, ozone has a broad microbial-inhibiting effect and supports energy management at the cellular level.

Within this protocol, ozone is not used as an aggressive therapy, but as an activator of recovery.

Always under supervision and if appropriate.

Phase
3

Recovery & resilience

(8 weeks)

After prolonged strain, active recovery is necessary.

Purpose of phase 3

Support in phase 3

Longevity support (NAD⁺ / Resveratrol / Ergothioneine)
Support energy production in cells and the restoration of mitochondrial function, essential in case of prolonged fatigue.

Glutathione
One of the body’s most important antioxidants, it supports detoxification processes and reduces residual damage caused by oxidative stress.

Coenzyme Q10
Supports energy production in muscles and organs and contributes to recovery of heart and muscle function.

Who is this protocol suitable for?

Dogs and cats with chronic or varying complaints

Animals that do not recover sufficiently after infections

Import dogs with unexplained symptoms

Animals in which previous treatments had insufficient effect

Owners who take an integrative approach
