How does Hormonal Balance Male work?
Hormonally driven restlessness in male dogs is rarely an educational problem. Testosterone and the associated stress hormones keep the sympathetic nervous system active, so that inhibition from the prefrontal cortex does not work sufficiently. The animal cannot switch, reacts excessively to stimuli and can remain fixated on smell or the presence of bitches in heat.
Hormonal Balance Male contains only deepening and parasympathetic activating oils. Vetiver has been deliberately chosen as a central component: it has the strongest documented effect on parasympathetic activation of all essential oils and literally helps the body to “land”. The blend deliberately does not contain stimulating citrus oils.

Cedrol promotes confinement, stability and a sense of security. Supports parasympathetic activation.
Vetiver
Deepest parasympathetic activator of the blend. Helps with hyper-reactivity and overactivation of the stress system.
Marjoram
Supports relaxation and inhibits overactivation of the autonomic nervous system.
Lavender
Linalool supports rest and relaxation via GABA modulation.
Frankincense
Neuro-hormonal regulation and integration through the limbic system.
Usage
- Roller: Topical on neck, inside ears or paws.
- Suitable for daily use in case of hormonal unrest.
