How does O-Mega Blend work?
Omega-3 fatty acids inhibit chronic inflammation from the inside out. In joint pain, skin complaints and obesity, low-grade inflammation almost always plays a role as an underlying cause. Omega-3 addresses that cause, not just the symptom.
Our oil is based on calanus oil, extracted from a small crustacean from the North Atlantic Ocean. Calanus oil contains EPA and DHA in a special phospholipid form that the body absorbs faster and better than regular fish oil. In addition, it contains astaxanthin, a powerful antioxidant that protects the omega-3 fatty acids and provides extra anti-inflammatory effects.
Calanus oil is also more sustainably sourced than traditional fish oil and is rigorously tested for heavy metals and contaminants.

When do you see results?
Omega-3 works through membrane integration: EPA and DHA are built into cell walls and gradually shift the inflammatory balance. From a systems biology point of view, this is a sustainable but gradual approach. The skin reacts faster than joints.
