Description
Firework Support supports with
- Fear of fireworks and loud noises
- Sound sensitivity and startle reactions
- Tension due to environmental stimuli
- Thunderstorms and holidays
- animals in extra need of comfort and safety
How does Firework Support work?
Fireworks fear activates the amygdala, which puts the body in a flight-freeze-fight state. Cortisol and adrenaline rise, the heart rate accelerates and the animal can no longer be reached. Loud, unexpected sounds directly activate the amygdala via the cochlea, outside of conscious processing. That makes sound anxiety difficult to condition without prior support from the nervous system.
Firework Support works through the olfactory system, which is the fastest route to the limbic system. The blend is warm, woody and grounding and supports a sense of security and limitation.
Composition
| Lavender | Calming and harmonizing. Supports relaxation of the nervous system and helps the animal to return to a calmer basic level. |

| Patchouli | Grounding and deeply relaxing. Contributes to emotional stability and the release of tension. |
| Cypress | Helps with transitions and sudden changes. Supports limitation and stability. |
| Frankincense | Deepens breathing and supports a sense of security. Has a soothing effect on emotional reactions. |
