Liposomal Lactoferrin

Does your dog or cat often have infections, intestinal complaints or a weak immune system? Lactoferrin is naturally found in breast milk and helps the immune system start, protects the intestinal wall and supports recovery after antibiotics or illness.

Strengthens the intestinal mucosal barrier and supports leaky gut repair
Binds free iron and thus limits the growth of pathogenic bacteria and yeasts
Supports Giardia, Candida, SIBO, Lyme and infections
Reduces low-grade inflammation and supports immune response
Has a synergistic effect with enzymes, prebiotics, probiotics, berberine and NAC

Description

This supplement helps with: weak resistance, recurring infections, intestinal complaints after antibiotics or deworming, and recovery after illness. Also suitable for young animals that have not received enough colostrum.

How Does Liposomal Lactoferrin Work?

Lactoferrin is a protein that occurs naturally in breast milk, saliva, and tears. It is one of the first defensive substances that a newborn animal receives through the colostrum. Lactoferrin binds iron in the gut, inhibiting harmful bacteria that need iron for their growth. At the same time, it directly activates immune cells and protects the intestinal wall.

In chronic intestinal complaints, after a course of antibiotics or with a weak immune system, the intestine’s own protection is often affected. Lactoferrin helps to restore that protection: from the inside, through the intestinal wall and through the immune system.

The liposomal form ensures that lactoferrin passes through the stomach protected and is better absorbed in the intestine. This makes a noticeable difference, especially in animals with an already sensitive digestive system.

What does this supplement do?

  • Supports resistance in animals that are often sick
  • Helps protect and repair the intestinal wall
  • Supports recovery of the intestinal flora after antibiotics
  • Relevant for recurring infections and chronic intestinal complaints
  • Also supports young animals that have not received sufficient colostrum

When do you see results?

Lactoferrin works through two routes at the same time: directly on bacteria and via the immune system. From a systems biology point of view, the intestinal barrier recovers gradually, while the immune system reacts more quickly. The first signs are therefore seen before the full recovery.

Week 1-2

Lactoferrin begins to inhibit harmful bacteria and activate immune cells. Sometimes slight change in stool that is normal and disappears quickly.

Week 2-4

First signs: fewer abdominal complaints, calmer bowel behavior, a little more energy. The immune system begins to recover.

Month 1-2

Significantly fewer infections and intestinal complaints. Better coat and general condition. Intestinal flora recovers noticeably.

Month 2+

Daily use structurally supports the intestinal barrier and resistance. For animals that get sick easily, this is a preventive maintenance supplement.

Works well with

Lactoferrin protects and supports the intestinal wall. The supplements below build on this through additional routes.

Biofilm Balance

Lactoferrin and NAC in Biofilm Balance together break through the biofilm of harmful bacteria. Lactoferrin inhibits growth afterwards, NAC cleans up the layer. Ideal combination for persistent intestinal infections.

Prebiotic Fibers

Lactoferrin protects the intestinal wall, Prebiotic Fibers feeds the good bacteria that fill the space afterwards. Protect and build together at the same time for the best recovery.

Liposomal Vitamin C

Vitamin C enhances the immune response that activates lactoferrin and supports the production of collagen for intestinal wall repair. In addition to infection and recovery.

L-Glutamine

Lactoferrin protects the intestinal wall from the outside, glutamine restores the intestinal wall from the inside through tight junctions. Together the most complete intestinal recovery combination.
