Description
This supplement helps with: recovery of the intestinal flora after antibiotics, deworming or other medication, recurring intestinal complaints, fluctuating stools and a weakened immune system. Phase 2 of the NGD Care Bowel Protocol. For dogs, cats and humans.
How does Fermented Probiotics work?
Most probiotics contain one to five isolated strains of bacteria. Fermented Probiotics is different: it is a freeze-dried fermented water kefir complex with more than 50 strains of bacteria and yeast in their natural symbiosis. That symbiosis is exactly what a healthy gut microbiome needs. Not one strong species, but a broad ecosystem of microorganisms that reinforce and balance each other.
After antibiotics, deworming or chronic medication, the disturbed microbiome grows back more lopsided: pathogenic and opportunistic species are the first to be given space. Adding five trunks does not solve that structurally. Fermented Probiotics offers microbiome diversity as it occurs in nature: bacteria and yeasts, in the proportions created during fermentation. The chicory inulin in the formula acts as a prebiotic that supports the colonization of the added strains and stimulates the production of short-chain fatty acids for intestinal barrier repair.
What does this supplement do?
- More than 50 bacterial and yeast strains in natural symbiosis for broad microbiome diversity
- Restores the intestinal flora after antibiotics, deworming, flea medication or other medication
- Strengthens the gut barrier via SCFA production and tight junction support
- Supports the immune system via mucosal IgA production and microbiome balance
- Chicory inulin as a prebiotic for optimal colonization and synbiotic effect
When do you see results?
Microbiome recovery is a gradual process. The first strains are establishing themselves quickly, but true diversity building and barrier restoration requires weeks of consistent use. The first effects are visible in stool quality and energy.
First tribes settle. Stool consistency improves. Less flatulence and bloating.
More stable stool. Better appetite and vitality. Coat and skin quality begins to improve through the gut-skin axis.
Microbiome diversity structurally recovers. Fewer recurrent infections. Better food intake and noticeably more energy.
Daily maintenance dose for structural microbiome support. Combine with Prebiotic Fibers for maximum synbiotic effect.

Part of a protocol
Fermented Probiotics is the probiotic core of phase 2 of the Gut Protocol, the Giardia Protocol and the Operation Recovery Package for microbiome recovery in dogs, cats and humans.
Works well with
Fermented Probiotics restores microbiome diversity. The supplements below enhance this recovery through additional pathways.
Biofilm Balance breaks down the biofilm that protects pathogenic bacteria. Fermented Probiotics then fills the vacant niche with healthy strains. Together the core of the transition from phase 1 to phase 2 in the Bowel Protocol.
Fermented Probiotics provides the probiotic strains. Prebiotic Fibers provides the prebiotic substrate for colonization and SCFA production. Together the most complete synbiotic in the NGD Care range.
Fermented Probiotics builds microbiome diversity. Gut Barrier Support restores the tight junctions and gut barrier so that the new microbiome strains find an intact environment.
After antibiotics or long-term intestinal complaints, B vitamin deficiencies are common. Vitamin B-Complex provides the cofactors that the restored intestine can optimally absorb through the improved intestinal barrier.
