Liposomal Fulvic and humic acid – Liposomal gut barrier support

A damaged intestinal wall is often at the root of complaints that you do not directly connect to the intestine: skin problems, allergies, fatigue or poor absorption of nutrients. This supplement helps to repair the intestinal wall and at the same time supports the removal of toxins.

Restoration of the intestinal barrier in case of leaky gut
Binding and removal of toxins, heavy metals and mycotoxins
Promotes the absorption of vitamins, minerals and trace elements
Support for gastrointestinal complaints, inflammation, intolerances and digestive problems
Can be used in detoxification programs or as part of a bowel recovery protocol

Description

This supplement helps with: a damaged intestinal wall, skin problems and allergies from the intestine, poor absorption of nutrients and toxic load from heavy metals or fungi.

How does Gut Barrier Support work?

A damaged intestinal wall allows substances that are not supposed to pass through: bacterial toxins, undigested food particles and harmful substances that then enter the bloodstream and activate the immune system. This is the underlying cause of many complaints that at first glance seem to have nothing to do with the intestine: skin problems, allergies, fatigue and a weak immune system.

Fulvic acid repairs the intestinal wall by strengthening the bonds between intestinal cells while also binding heavy metals and toxins so that they are eliminated. It also stimulates Akkermansia muciniphila, the species of bacteria that builds up the protective mucus layer of the intestine. Humic acid strengthens the intestinal barrier directly at the cellular level and inhibits the inflammatory response in case of intestinal leakage.

A 2026 veterinary cell biology study showed this specifically in canine intestinal cells: humic acid protected epithelial barrier integrity and lowered pro-inflammatory cytokines in LPS stress.

What does this supplement do?

  • Helps repair a damaged intestinal wall from the inside out
  • Supports skin problems, allergies and fatigue from the intestine
  • Helps to remove toxins and heavy metals
  • Improves nutrient and mineral absorption
  • Phase 2 component of the NGD Care Animal Gut Protocol

When do you see results?

Intestinal barrier repair is a gradual process. From a systems biology perspective, tight junctions recover step by step as the toxic load decreases and new epithelial cells grow. The first effects are visible in the complaints that are fed from the intestine.

Week 1-2

Fulvic acid begins to bind and remove toxins. Humic acid activates intestinal barrier repair. Calmer bowel behavior noticeable.

Week 2-4

Better stools, fewer abdominal complaints. First improvement in skin and energy complaints that are nourished from the intestine.

Month 1-2

Clearly better intestinal barrier visible in fewer skin complaints, better resistance and better food intake.

Month 2+

For chronic intestinal barrier problems maintenance supplement. Combine with L-Glutamine for complete intestinal wall repair.

Part of a protocol

Gut Barrier Support is the phase 2 component of the Animal Gut Protocol: after the cleansing phase, it helps repair the intestinal wall and build the microbiome.

Works well with

Gut Barrier Support repairs the intestinal wall and removes toxins. The supplements below enhance this recovery through additional pathways.

L-Glutamine

Gut Barrier Support restores the barrier from the outside via tight junction reinforcement. L-Glutamine provides the fuel for enterocytes that repair the inside of the intestinal wall. Together the most complete intestinal wall repair available.

Prebiotic Fibers

Fulvic acid stimulates Akkermansia muciniphila for the mucus layer. Prebiotic Fibers nourishes the broader microbiome community. Together for complete microbiome and barrier repair.

Glutathione

Fulvic acid binds toxins and heavy metals in the intestine. Glutathione supports the liver in processing those toxins after disposal. Together for intestinal and liver detoxification.

Curcumin

Humic acid inhibits TNF-alpha and IL-6 in intestinal leakage. Curcumin inhibits the broader inflammatory cascade via NF-kB. Together for complete ignition control in leaky gut.
