Description

NGD Care – Flower Power is a colourful and fragrant flower mix that has been specially formulated to brighten up and enrich the daily meals of dogs and cats. The blend consists of 100% natural, dried edible flowers: cornflower, marigold, marigolds and carnation.

In addition to their visual appeal, these flowers contain natural flavonoids and antioxidants. They can provide mild support to digestion, the immune system, and skin health. The flowers are often used in herbal medicine for their soothing, anti-inflammatory and cleansing properties.

Use Flower Power as a finishing touch to your enrichment bowl, or as a cheerful change to your daily diet. Also suitable for cats due to the mild scent and structure.

  • Cornflower – rich in anthocyanins (blue pigment), soothing for the stomach & intestines

  • Marigold (Calendula) – contains calendulin and flavonoids, supports skin & mucous membranes

  • Tagetes (Tagetes) – contains lutein and essential oil, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory

  • Carnation – traditionally used for digestion and sedation, rich in flavonoids

Dosage and use

    • 1x daily 1/2 teaspoon per 15kg

    • Sprinkle the meal with a small pinch of the flower mix as a topping or to decorate an enrichment bowl.

    • Note: alternating with other enrichments recommended.

    • No known interactions with regular medication.
    • Can cause mild gastrointestinal symptoms (such as soft stools) in case of hypersensitivity.
