Liposomal Coenzyme Q10

Liposomal Coenzyme Q10 supports energy metabolism, vitality and natural regenerative capacity. The liposomal technique allows ubiquinone to be optimally absorbed and immediately available to the cells. Ideal for fatigue, intensive loads, aging and extra mitochondrial support.

Description

Coenzyme Q10 is a powerful substance that plays a key role in the mitochondria: the energy factories of our cells. This liposomal Q10 contains 160 mg of ubiquinone per capsule and is encapsulated in high-quality phospholipids for greatly improved bioavailability.

As people age or experience more stress, Coenzyme Q10 levels drop and the efficiency of the mitochondria decreases. This can lead to fatigue, recovery problems and increased sensitivity to oxidative stress. This formula is suitable for anyone who wants extra support for energy, repair and cell protection, and is often used for fatigue, sports load, stress situations or during natural aging. The liposomal form makes absorption 3–5 times more efficient than standard Q10, so lower doses still give a powerful effect. It works synergistically with B vitamins, NAD+, magnesium, and omegas, making it fit within a broader integrative approach.

  • Interactions
    • Ubiquinol is reduced/oxidized in the body in the electron transport chain and has not shown direct strong inhibition or induction of CYP450 enzymes, but clinical interactions have been described. With the use of coumarin derivatives (such as warfarin), there are reports of a slight reduction in INR, possibly due to structural similarity of CoQ10 to vitamin K or effects on redox balance in the liver; Therefore, INR extra monitoring and adjusting the dosage of anticoagulation if necessary.
    • Statins inhibit HMG-CoA reductase and thus the endogenous synthesis of CoQ10, allowing ubiquinol supplementation to compensate for statin-induced CoQ10 deficiency. This is not a “classic” interaction, but it is therapeutically relevant for muscle complaints.
    • No strong direct effects on P-glycoprotein (P-gp) or major transporters have been described, but due to its role in mitochondrial functions, ubiquinol may affect tolerance to certain cardiovascular medications (beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors). In complex polypharmacy (cardiology, oncology), consultation with the attending physician is recommended.
