Liposomal Glutathione

Many complaints start with an overloaded liver or a weakened immune system. Glutathione is the substance that the body produces itself to protect and cleanse itself. In the case of chronic complaints, medication use or old age, this production decreases. This supplement supplements that deficiency.

Protects mitochondria and DNA
Helps reduce free radicals and toxins
Main intracellular antioxidant
Widely applicable in case of stress, illness, inflammation or strain

Description

QUICK SUMMARY

This supplement helps with: an overburdened liver, a weakened immune system, recovery after illness or medication use, and protection of cells in aging and chronic conditions.

How Does Liposomal Glutathione Work?

Glutathione is the most powerful antioxidant that the body produces itself. It protects cells from damage, helps the liver process toxins and supports the immune system in case of infections and chronic complaints. Every cell in the body needs glutathione to function properly.
In case of illness, long-term medication use, chronic stress or old age, the patient’s own production decreases while the need increases. Supplementation helps the body maintain its own protection system, especially in animals that are heavily stressed.
Glutathione is difficult to absorb orally in ordinary form because it is broken down in the stomach before it reaches the cells. The liposomal form circumvents this: the active ingredient is delivered protected at the cell and tissue level.

What does this supplement do?

  • Supports the liver in the removal of waste products and toxins
  • Helps the immune system function better in chronic complaints
  • Protects cells from damage caused by disease, medication or old age
  • Relevant for liver stress, chronic illness and recovery after anesthesia
  • Liposomal form reaches the cells where regular glutathione does not

When do you see results?

Glutathione acts as the body’s great cleaner. From a systems biology point of view, the oxidative load must first be reduced before recovery becomes visible. With a heavily loaded system, this takes longer than with mild complaints.

Week 1-2

Glutathione is absorbed and begins to neutralize oxidative damage. No visible effect yet.

Week 2-4

First signs: a little more energy, less tired. In case of liver problems, sometimes improvement of blood values.

Month 1-2

Noticeably better vitality, better coat and skin condition. In liver diseases, improvement of clinical parameters.

Month 2+

Daily use structurally supports liver detoxification and cell protection. In the case of chronic illness, this is a maintenance supplement.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How fast does Liposomal Glutathione work?

The first signs are often noticeable from weeks 2 to 4: a little more energy and less fatigue. In the case of liver problems, blood values sometimes improve during this period. Structural liver support and cell protection usually require 1 to 2 months.

Why liposomal glutathione instead of a regular supplement?

Ordinary glutathione is broken down in the stomach before it reaches the cells, leaving little of it. The liposomal form packs glutathione in a protective layer that prevents breakdown in the stomach and delivers the active ingredient directly to the cellular and tissue level.

For which dogs and cats is glutathione extra important?

Especially for animals with an overburdened liver, animals that take medication for a long time or recover from anesthesia, and older animals, because the own production of glutathione decreases while the need increases.

What is the difference between glutathione and NAC (N-acetylcysteine)?

NAC is a raw material from which the body can produce glutathione itself; Glutathione itself is the active, ready-to-use antioxidant. Regular NAC supplements are cheaper and more stable, but depend on a well-functioning conversion process. Liposomal glutathione delivers the active ingredient directly, which can be an advantage, especially in sick or older animals with reduced conversion capacity.

Works well with

Glutathione is the body’s central antioxidant. The supplements below enhance glutathione action or have a complementary protective function.

Liposomal Vitamin C

Vitamin C regenerates oxidative glutathione back to its active form. Together, they form a recycled antioxidant system that works much more efficiently than either individually.

L-Glutamine

Glutamine is the direct precursor of glutathione. Co-supplementing provides both exogenous glutathione and increased endogenous production. The strongest combination for liver detoxification.

Longevity Support

Resveratrol activates Nrf2 and increases endogenous glutathione production. Exogenous liposomal glutathione supplements this immediately. Layered antioxidant strategy for aging and cell protection.

Liposomal Ubiquinone

Glutathione protects mitochondria from oxidative damage, CoQ10 maintains energy production in those mitochondria. Together, they protect and support cellular power plants.
