Description

How does the Colloidal Silver Nasal Spray work?
The nasal cavity is the first line of defense of the respiratory system. The nasal mucosa acts as a barrier and contains ciliary epithelium that drains foreign particles and microorganisms through mucociliary clearance. In the event of inflammation, allergy or infection, this system becomes overloaded: the mucous membrane swells, clearance is disrupted and pathogens can attach to the epithelium.
Colloidal silver supports the microclimate of the nasal mucosa through local antimicrobial activity. The 10 PPM nanoparticles reach the mucosal surface directly via the spray, without systemic uptake via the nasal mucous membranes in relevant concentrations. The effect is local and mild, with no known side effects or interactions with other agents.
