What is colloidal gold?
Colloidal gold consists of elemental gold nanoparticles suspended in purified water. Unlike gold salts (such as aurothiomalate, which is used in rheumatoid arthritis), colloidal gold does not contain ionic gold and therefore has a fundamentally different safety profile. The ruby red colour is characteristic of pure colloidal gold particles and is created by the interaction of light with the nanostructure of the particles (the Tyndall effect).
Gold is a precious metal with a long tradition in medicine. Traditionally, colloidal gold has been associated with cognitive clarity, vitality, and nervous system support. The particle size of 3.2 nanometers on average ensures high bioavailability in external application and optimal distribution in the liquid.
