Description

NGD Care – Discomfort Support is a carefully formulated aromatherapy blend to support physical discomfort, sensitivity and muscle tension in animals. This oil has been developed for situations in which the body can use extra support, such as temporary sensitivity, recovery moments or general restlessness due to pain.

The blend combines soothing, soothing and warming essential oils that are traditionally used to promote relaxation and support well-being, without forcing the body.

Composition

  • Copaiba – is known for its soothing properties and is traditionally used to support physical sensitivity and tension.
  • Frankincense – supports relaxation and is often used for recovery and balance in the body.
  • Lavender – contributes to relaxation of body and nervous system and supports rest in case of tension.
  • Ginger – warming and stimulating, traditionally used for stiffness and discomfort.
  • Marjoram – relaxing and supportive with muscle and tension feelings.
  • Turmeric – aromatic and warming, traditionally applied to support comfort and dexterity.
  • Roman Chamomile – gentle and calming, supports relaxation in sensitive animals.

Dosage and use

  • Dosage
    • Roll on a joint or sore muscle 1-2x daily.
  • Contraindications
    • Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals
    • Do not apply to open wounds or irritated skin
  • Side effects
    • Possible reactions when the animal starts licking the oil. This must be avoided. Drooling, lethargy, diarrhea, vomiting, skin irritation, or hyperactivity
  • Interactions
    • Copaiba works via CB2 receptor and can enhance the action of anti-inflammatory drugs
    • Turmeric can affect liver enzymes with long-term use
