How does Nerve Reset work?

Not every restlessness is anxiety and not every tension is stress. Sometimes the nervous system is simply “on” too long or too hard. Polyvagal theory describes this as a state in which the ventral vagus system (safety and connection) becomes overloaded and the sympathetic system or dorsal vagus system takes over. The animal or person is no longer accessible, reacts hyper-reactively or withdraws.

Nerve Reset is not designed as a sedative, but as a neuro-regulatory blend. The goal is to discharge and de-stimulate, so that the body can then switch to rest or processing. Vetiver has the strongest grounding and parasympathetic activating profile of the oils used. Blue tansy provides chamazulene that modulates neuroinflammation and soothes internal restlessness.

Roman Chamomile

Sensory attenuation and calming via ester-rich components.

Copaiba

Beta-caryophyllene modulates neuroinflammation and stress responses via CB2 receptors.

Frankincense

Integration and regulation of the nervous system through the limbic system.

Vetiver

Deepest parasympathetic activator of the blend. Literally helps the body land.

Blue Tansy

Chamazulene modulates neuroinflammation and soothes internal restlessness in case of overstimulation.

Roller 10 ml

Direct, external use on neck, ears or paws. Ideal for acute overstimulation or as a preventive application for busy situations.

Diffuser oil 5 ml

Pure blend for use in diffuser. Supports the entire room in case of overstimulation. Always provide sufficient ventilation and give the animal the opportunity to leave the room.

Dosage and use

Dosage of animals and humans
- In animals
  - Roller: Roll on soles or ears 2-3x daily or as needed.
  - Diffuser oil: 2–4 drops in diffuser, leave on for 30 minutes, ensure that animals can leave the room and ensure good ventilation.

Manual
- After school, training or therapy
- after social or sensory intensive situations
- in case of sudden restlessness or overstimulation
- before a moment of rest or sleep
Contraindications
- Do not use pure essential oil directly on the animal. Always dilute it with water or oil. Pure oil on the animal can be harmful
- The oils are not suitable for ingestion. This can be harmful.
