Description

B vitamins play a central role in the conversion of food to energy, the building and protection of the nervous system, methylation processes and the regulation of mood and stress response. In this liposomal B complex , the B vitamins are offered in biologically active forms (such as methylcobalamin, methylfolate and P-5-P), making them directly usable in cell metabolism, also in people with genetic variants in folate or B12 metabolism (e.g. MTHFR polymorphisms). The liposomal treatment also increases absorption and makes the complex gentle on the stomach and intestines.

This B-complex supports both physically and mentally: it contributes to the reduction of fatigue, normal functioning of the nervous system and psyche, homocysteine metabolism, red blood cell formation and detoxification processes. It is therefore suitable for stress, busy periods, recovery after illness, intensive cognitive work or as a basis in an integrative treatment plan.

Due to the combination of active B-forms and liposomal technology, this formula is very suitable for people who are sensitive to standard synthetic forms or for whom previous B-supplementation did not give sufficient effect. Manual

Contraindications
- Caution in case of history of B6 neuropathy at very high dosages (prolonged > 50 mg/day is 28 capsules per day of this dosage).
- Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Caution in active cancer in combination with high folate doses (always in consultation with the treating physician).
Side effects
- temporary “niacin-flush” on niacinamide/niacin (warmth, redness), mild nausea when taken on an empty stomach.
- In case of prolonged excessively high B6 intake: risk of peripheral neuropathy (not applicable at normal doses).
Interactions
- Vitamin B6 (P-5-P) can reduce the effect of levodopa without a decarboxylase inhibitor in high doses (> 50–100 mg/day) by stimulating the peripheral conversion of levodopa to dopamine. B6 is also involved in isoniazid metabolism; Isoniazid deficiencies can be prevented with B6, but this is a physician application.
- Folate (B11) and B12 affect homocysteine metabolism; high folate dosages can mask a B12 deficiency at the blood count level, while neurological damage continues.
- Niacin/niacinamide can increase liver load and affect the lipid profile in high doses.
- Some B vitamins act as cofactors for CYP450 enzymes; Although they do not strongly inhibit or induce these, they can normalize drug metabolism in case of deficiencies. When using methotrexate (folate antagonist), certain antiepileptic drugs and anti-folates, supplementation with folate/methylfolate may partially counteract the effectiveness of the medicine and should always be discussed with the doctor.
- In general, this B-complex can be safely combined, but in the case of complex polypharmacy, oncological therapy or high doses, coordination with the treating physician or pharmacist is recommended.
