Description
This supplement helps with: fatigue, anemia, nervous complaints, a bad coat and deficiencies due to intestinal disease, old age or chronic stress in dogs and cats.
How does Liposomal Vitamin B Complex work?
B vitamins act as a network: they are cofactors in interconnected processes for energy production, nerve function, red blood cell production, and DNA repair. A deficiency of one B vitamin disrupts the functioning of the others. That’s why a full complex is always more effective than a single B vitamin.
In dogs and cats with chronic bowel disease such as IBD or EPI, a vit B12 deficiency is the most common and clinically impactful problem. Vit B12 is absorbed through a special mechanism in the ileum that does not work properly in intestinal disease. The liposomal form bypasses this mechanism: B12 is absorbed directly through the intestinal wall, even if the ileum is damaged.
The complex contains B12 as methylcobalamin and folate as methylfolate, the directly active forms that do not require liver correction. B6 is found as P-5-P, the active cofactor for serotonin and GABA production in the nervous system.
What does this supplement do?
- Helps with fatigue, a bad coat and nervous complaints
- Supports anemia and deficiencies due to intestinal disease
- All eight B vitamins in the forms that the body can use directly
- More absorbable than regular B vitamin supplements, even for intestinal complaints
- Phase 2 component of the NGD Care Bowel Protocol
When do you see results?
B vitamins supplement deficiencies that have built up gradually. From a systems biology point of view, the body repairs the most critical deficit first. In severe B12 deficiency due to intestinal disease, the effect is quickly noticeable. In less severe deficiencies, it is more gradual.
B vitamins are absorbed and deficiencies begin to replenish. In severe B12 deficiency, noticeably more energy and alertness quickly occur.
More energy and vitality. Beginning of improvement in coat and skin quality. Better nerve function noticeable in behavior and alertness.
Clearly better coat, more energy and better overall condition. Fewer nervous symptoms in B12 deficiency.
Daily use in case of intestinal disease: continuously necessary because absorption remains structurally reduced. Monitor blood values with veterinarian.

Why NGD Care Liposomal Vitamin B Complex?
| Characteristic | NGD Care | Medium supplement |
|---|---|---|
| First result | Noticeable from week 1-2 in case of severe deficiency, week 2-4 in case of mild deficiency | Similar to injection, worse to standard tablet for bowel disease |
| Absorption in case of intestinal disease | Liposomal formulation intrinsically bypasses factor-dependent uptake | Standard tablet: depends on intact ileum, does not work for intestinal disease |
| Vitamin forms | Methylcobalamin, methylfolate, P-5-P: directly active forms | Cyanocobalamin and folic acid: passive forms, liver correction needed |
| Form of | Capsule with only active ingredients | Tablet or chew: often with fillers and flavorings |

Part of a protocol
Vitamin B-Complex is the phase 2 component of the Gut Protocol for nervous system and energy recovery after the cleansing phase.
Works well with
Vitamin B-Complex replenishes essential cofactors for energy and nerve function. The supplements below benefit from or enhance these cofactors.
L-Glutamine restores the intestinal wall so that B vitamins are better absorbed. B vitamins support the energy production and nerve function that enterocytes need for recovery. Together they reinforce each other’s effect in phase 2 of the Bowel Protocol.
Relax Support
B6 as P-5-P in both supplements is the cofactor for serotonin synthase. Relax Support provides L-tryptophan as a precursor. Together for optimal serotonin and GABA production in stress and behavioral complaints.
Longevity Support
Niacin (B3) is the direct precursor of NAD+. Vitamin B-Complex provides niacin, Longevity Support delivers NAD+ directly. Together for optimal NAD+ availability for sirtuinen and cellular energy metabolism.
Daily Multi delivers a broad basic vitamin support. In case of specific B vitamin deficiencies due to intestinal disease or old age, extra B-Complex is needed. Together for optimal vitamin balance in animals with increased needs.
