Description

NGD Care – Digestive Support is a specially formulated aromatherapy blend to support the gastrointestinal tract in animals. This natural roller contains essential oils known for their nausea and cramp-reducing effect and is ideal for motion sickness, vomiting, diarrhea or abdominal tension.

The blend contains, among other things:

Peppermint & ginger – traditionally used for nausea and motion sickness
Lemon & Roman chamomile – calming for the stomach, relaxing and uplifting
Lavender & Frankincense – relaxing on both the intestines and the nervous system
ZenGest® – a powerful combination to support the entire digestive system

The oil is packaged in a handy roller, specially developed for external use on the abdomen in case of complaints or preventively before/during travel.

- Fractionated coconut oil, Essential oils of peppermint, ginger, lemon and creams chamomile, frankinsence, lavender, zengest

Dosage and use

Dosage dog and cat
- In case of motion sickness: apply 1× to the abdomen before departure and during the journey
- In case of nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting or abdominal pain: 1–2× per day roll on the stomach
Contraindications
- Do not use pure essential oil directly on the animal. Always dilute it with water or oil. Pure oil on the animal can be harmful
- The oils are not suitable for ingestion. This can be harmful.
Side effects
- Dogs and cats have an extremely keen sense of smell. Dose low and ensure that your pet can run away and the room is ventilated.
- When overdosed, animals may become anxious, drool, wash themselves excessively, tremble, weaken, and vomit or have diarrhea.
Interactions
- Ginger and peppermint may affect stomach acid production and intestinal motility when ingested, but no known interactions when used topically
- Lavender can have a mild sedative effect and theoretically enhance the effect of sedatives (e.g. benzodiazepines)
