Description

QUICK SUMMARY

This supplement helps with: detoxification of heavy metals and environmental toxins, immune system support, cellular regeneration in aging animals, and mineral deficiencies due to one-sided diets. For dogs, cats and humans.

How does Green detox work?

Three raw materials, three efficacy profiles that complement each other. Chlorella binds heavy metals such as lead, mercury and cadmium in the intestine through its unique cell wall structure and removes them through the faeces. This binding process takes place in the intestine: chlorella prevents toxins from being absorbed into the bloodstream via the intestinal wall and at the same time increases the excretion of already metabolized metals via the bile and faeces. The Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF) also stimulates cell regeneration and DNA repair.
Spirulina delivers the most powerful anti-inflammatory profile of the three. The blue-green pigment phycocyanin inhibits the NF-kB and COX-2 signaling pathways that drive chronic inflammation, and activates natural killer cells for broad immune support. With 60-70% protein and all essential amino acids, spirulina is also a high-quality nutrient-rich base for muscle maintenance and recovery.
Alfalfa has roots that reach up to 30 meters deep, tapping into minerals that most crops do not reach. It provides the broadest mineral spectrum of any plant, including vitamin K2 and chlorophyll that supports the liver via activation of phase II detoxification enzymes.

What does this supplement do?

  • Chlorella binds heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium) in the intestine and promotes safe excretion
  • Spirulina inhibits inflammation via phycocyanin and activates NK cells for immune support
  • Alfalfa provides minerals, vitamin K2 and chlorophyll that are structurally lacking in kibble
  • Chlorella Growth Factor supports cell regeneration and DNA repair in aging animals
  • Widely applicable to environmental toxins, old age, long-term medication and mineral deficiencies

When do you see results?

Detoxification and cell regeneration are gradual processes. Chlorella starts working directly in the intestine with each dose. Systemic effects on energy, fur, and cognition are typically only noticeable after weeks of consistent use.

Week 1-2

Chlorella begins to actively bind heavy metals in the intestine. Better stool quality. First noticeable improvement in energy levels.

Week 2-4

Fur becomes shinier. Better appetite and activity. Visible improvement in animals with mineral deficiencies or chronic fatigue.

Month 1-2

Better resistance and fewer recurrent infections. In older animals, noticeably better cognitive acuity and mobility via CGF support.

Month 2+

Daily basis for long-lasting detox support and cell regeneration. Combine with Longevity Support for maximum synergy in older animals.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I continue to give this supplement, or is it only for a short course?

Chlorella-Spirulina-Alfalfa is safe for long-term daily use. In fact, in the case of chronic exposure to environmental toxins, older animals or one-sided diet, continuous use is the most effective.

Is this supplement also suitable if my animal is taking medication?

Chlorella and spirulina are generally safe to combine with regular medication, but when in doubt, always consult with an (integrative) veterinarian, especially if you are taking medication for a long time where extra liver support is desired.

Why does chlorella need to have a broken cell wall?

Chlorella naturally has a very strong cell wall that is not properly broken down by the digestive system of dogs, cats and humans. Without mechanical processing (broken cell wall), the active substances remain trapped within the cell and are hardly absorbed.

What makes the combination of chlorella, spirulina and alfalfa better than the individual products?

The three raw materials work on different, complementary levels: chlorella binds toxins in the intestine, spirulina inhibits inflammation and supports the immune system, and alfalfa provides minerals that are less present in both algae. Together, they cover detox, immune support, and nutrition in one supplement.

Works well with

Chlorella-Spirulina-Alfalfa provides detox, immune support and minerals. The supplements below reinforce this through additional routes.

Glutathione

Chlorella binds toxins in the intestine. Glutathione supports the liver in processing the absorbed toxins through phase II detoxification. Together for complete intestinal and liver detoxification.

Longevity Support

Spirulina inhibits inflammaging via phycocyanin. Longevity Support inhibits inflammaging via NMN, resveratrol and spermidine. Together the most complete anti-aging support for older dogs and cats.

Curcumin

Phycocyanin and curcumin both inhibit NF-kB but through partly different pathways. Together broader coverage of the inflammatory cascade in chronic inflammation or after long-term medication.

Myco Immune Complex

Spirulina activates NK cells via beta-glucans. Myco Immune Complex activates the immune system via mushroom beta-glucans on additional receptors. Together the strongest broad immune activation in the NGD Care range.
