Description
QUICK SUMMARY
This supplement helps with pain, anxiety, skin problems, and epilepsy in dogs and cats. Works through the endocannabinoid system that is present in every mammal and regulates pain, mood, and inflammation.
How does CBD oil work?
CBD works through the endocannabinoid system, a regulatory system present in every mammal including dogs and cats. This system coordinates pain perception, mood, inflammation, sleep, and appetite. CBD modulates this system through multiple receptors at once, which explains its broad action.
Our CBD oil is a full-spectrum extract that contains over 100 different phytocannabinoids including CBD, CBG, and terpenes. Full-spectrum extracts work through the entourage effect: the cannabinoids enhance each other’s effects, making the total extract more effective than CBD alone. Each batch is examined in the lab and contains a THC value of <0.1%. This makes it a safe supplement for humans and animals and also allowed in Europe for shipping.
NGD Care’s liposomal formulation is the only one on the market for animals: phospholipid vesicles protect the fat-soluble cannabinoids and significantly increase bioavailability over regular CBD oil.
What does this supplement do?
- Helps with pain, fear and anxiety in dogs and cats
- Supports skin problems and chronic inflammation
- Can reduce seizure frequency in epilepsy, always in consultation with a veterinarian
- Full-spectrum for maximum effect through the endocannabinoid system
- Liposomal form is the only one on the market for significantly better absorption
When do you see results?
CBD works through the endocannabinoid system that is already present in the body. From a systems biology perspective, CBD modulates an existing system, so effects are felt relatively quickly. In the case of acute anxiety within hours, in the case of chronic pain or skin complaints, it takes longer.
In case of acute anxiety (fireworks, traveling) noticeable calming down. Pain modulation begins immediately after admission.
Calmer basic behavior, fewer pain reactions when moving. Less itching noticeable in skin problems.
Clear improvement in chronic pain and skin complaints. In epilepsy: measure seizure frequency over several weeks.
Daily use for structural pain, anxiety, and inflammation modulation. In case of epilepsy, always monitor in consultation with your veterinarian.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is CBD oil legal and safe for animals?
Yes. Our CBD oil contains less than 0.1% THC, which is well within the European standard, and each batch is lab tested. This makes it safe for use on dogs and cats, and also allowed for shipping within Europe.
What is the difference between full-spectrum and CBD isolate?
CBD isolate contains only isolated CBD. Full-spectrum extracts also contain over 100 other phytocannabinoids and terpenes, which enhance each other’s effects through the entourage effect. This often makes full-spectrum more effective than isolated CBD in practice.
Can my dog or cat get high from this CBD oil?
No. THC is the substance that produces a psychoactive effect, and our oil contains less than 0.1% of it, well below the threshold that could give any effect. CBD itself has no psychoactive effect.
Can I give CBD oil to an animal with epilepsy?
CBD can help reduce the seizure frequency in epilepsy, but this should always be done in consultation with a veterinarian, especially in combination with antiepileptic drugs, as CBD can affect the breakdown of some medications in the liver.

Part of a protocol
CBD oil is a component of the Behavioral Protocol and the Joint Protocol as an adjunct to pain and stress modulation.
Works well with
CBD modulates the endocannabinoid system. The supplements below reinforce this through additional pain and stress pathways.
PEA and CBD work synergistically through the endocannabinoid system. PEA indirectly inhibits FAAH causing anandamide to rise, CBD inhibits it directly. Together, they increase anandamide levels and amplify each other’s pain and anxiety effects.
CBD modulates the endocannabinoid system for anxiety. Relax Support supplements via serotonin and GABA. Together, they cover multiple anxiety and stress pathways for broad behavioral support.
CBD provides instant anxiety and pain modulation. Adaptogen Complex restores the underlying HPA axis and cortisol balance. Together the direct and the deep approach to chronic stress and anxiety.
Omega-3 supports the production of endogenous cannabinoids via EPA/DHA. CBD directly modulates the endocannabinoid system. Mechanistic synergistic for chronic pain and joint problems.
