Description
QUICK SUMMARY
This supplement helps with: standing up stiffly, difficulty climbing stairs, joint pain and osteoarthritis in dogs and cats. Also preventively suitable for large breeds, active dogs and young growing animals.
How does Mobility Support work?
Joints and cartilage need specific building blocks to stay healthy. In osteoarthritis and joint wear, these building blocks are broken down faster than the body can replenish them. Mobility Support supplies the four most relevant building material complexes in one formula.
Eggshell membrane naturally contains collagen, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine and chondroitin in their natural mutual ratio, just as they also occur in articular cartilage. Type II collagen is the primary structural fiber of cartilage. Glucosamine provides the building blocks for glycosaminoglycans that hydrate cartilage. Chondroitin keeps the cartilage resilient and inhibits degradation processes.
The unique liposomal processing also ensures that the absorbability of the glucosamine and chondroitin is 6x higher than the standard supplements, of which often only 10% is absorbed.
A large 2025 European study conducted in nine specialty clinics in seven countries showed significant improvement in mobility in dogs with osteoarthritis after supplementation with an eggshell membrane-containing formula.
What does this supplement do?
- Helps with stiffness, difficulty getting up and joint pain
- Provides the building blocks that cartilage and joints need
- Preventively suitable for large breeds and active dogs
- Also for young growing animals and after orthopaedic operations
- Better absorption due to liposomal formulation
When do you see results?
Joints and cartilage recover more slowly than other tissues. From a systems biology point of view, cartilage does not have blood vessels of its own and is nourished via the synovial fluid. As a result, the supply of building materials is slower, but the recovery is also more sustainable.
Building material intake begins. Hyaluronic acid from eggshell membrane improves synovial fluid quality relatively quickly.
First signs: getting up a little easier, moving more smoothly, less restraint when climbing stairs.
Clearer improvement in mobility and comfort. Less stiffness after rest. More willingness to move and play.
Daily use maintains cartilage and inhibits further wear. In osteoarthritis, a long-term maintenance supplement.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Why is eggshell membrane better than loose glucosamine and chondroitin?
Loose glucosamine and chondroitin are isolated substances. Eggshell membrane contains these building blocks together with collagen and hyaluronic acid, in the natural ratio in which they also occur in cartilage, plus growth factors that are missing from individual ingredients.
Can I give Mobility Support preventively to a young, healthy dog?
Yes, especially in large or heavily loaded breeds that naturally have an increased risk of joint wear. The building blocks then support the normal cartilage build-up during growth, instead of repairing existing wear and tear.
Why does Mobility Support work slower than, for example, a painkiller?
Cartilage has no blood vessels of its own and is nourished via the synovial fluid, which means that the supply of nutrients is naturally slow. A painkiller only suppresses the signal, while Mobility Support helps build the tissue itself — which takes more time but gives a more durable result.
Is Mobility Support also suitable after orthopaedic surgery?
Yes, the building blocks support the recovery of cartilage and joint tissue after surgery. In the case of a recently performed procedure, consult with the treating veterinarian about the right start-up time.

Part of a protocol
Mobility Support is the structural building block component of the Joint Protocol, complementary to pain and inflammation modulation via PEA Complex and Calanus Oil.
Works well with
Mobility Support provides the building blocks for cartilage. The supplements below inhibit the inflammation and pain that damage cartilage.
Mobility Support builds cartilage. PEA Complex modulates the pain and inflammation that puts stress on the joint. Together, we address both the structure and the inflammatory component of osteoarthritis. Core combination of the Joint Protocol.
Omega-3 inhibits COX inflammation that causes MMP activation and breaks down cartilage. Less breakdown via omega-3, more build-up via Mobility Support. Synergistic through complementary mechanisms.
Curcumin inhibits MMP-13, the enzyme that breaks down type II collagen in cartilage in osteoarthritis. Less degradation via curcumin, more build-up via Mobility Support. Mechanistically highly complementary.
In osteoarthritis, mitochondria in chondrocytes are damaged. CoQ10 restores energy production in those cells so that they can make optimal use of the building blocks from Mobility Support for cartilage building.
