Gut protocol

Description

Our bowel protocol consists of 2 phases.

Phase 1 is intended to remove the pathogenic biofilm from the intestines and to detoxify and treat the body against the low-grade inflammation.

Phase 2 is necessary to promote the further construction and stability of the microbiome and to support the intestinal wall.

A healthy microbiome ensures the production of enzymes, vitamins, neurotransmitters, short-chain fatty acids and antioxidants, among other things. If the microbiome is no longer in balance due to a certain cause (e.g. diet, stress, pain), a biofilm is formed. These are larger amounts of microorganisms that form a close-knit slimy community. The biofilm forms an impenetrable barrier and can grow larger, producing virulent factors and toxins. This is called a pathogenic biofilm. This pathogenic biofilm is at the root of inflammation in all mucous membrane layers of the body such as the skin, bladder, ears and eyes. But it has also been implicated in allergic reactions, immune diseases, behavioural problems and cancer.

• Nutritional intervention. Greatest possible variation in 80% KVV or canned with 20% ground vegetables.
• This is a very essential part of the intestinal protocol. If you are not motivated to give variety in food, the effect of this treatment is much less and the disease can come back more easily.

• Enzyme mix 2. Contains digestive enzymes and NAC. This enzyme mix is able to break down the bacterial and yeast biofilm.
• Chlorella, spirulina and alfalfa. Has a strong detoxifying effect to cleanse the intestines and organs of toxins and heavy metals. Contains many vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acids to support the body.
• Liposomal Curcumin. Is a strong anti-inflammatory that is needed to get the low-grade inflammation caused by the pathogenic biofilm out of the body. Due to the liposomal processing, the Curcumin ends up everywhere in the body.
• Liposomal vitamin C. Is a strong antioxidant. Due to the chronic inflammation, there is a large production of free radicals, which can remove vitamin C.
• Prebiotics. A very varied supplement with several types of fiber that can stimulate the microbiome very broadly.

Phase 2:

• Water kefir. The water kefir contains 50 different strains of bacteria and yeast and ensures that the gut microbiome is stimulated even further.
• Liposomal fulvic and humic acid. This combination is very suitable for further detoxifying the body. It is a nice source of vitamins, minerals, metals and trace elements. Humus enlarges the intestinal villi, protects the intestinal mucosa and restores the tight junctions. The hyperpermeable intestine, or leaky gut syndrome, is treated with this.
• Liposomal vitamin B complex. Because the microbiome has an essential function in the production of B vitamins, this supplement is added extra so that the body can recover faster. B vitamins ensure the formation of red blood cells, and provide energy, ensure normal functioning of the nervous system, ability to concentrate and mental resilience.

The Bowel Protocol can be used as a short 2-month course (4 weeks phase 1, 4 weeks phase 2) if there are hardly any symptoms or to give the body a good cleanse every year.

For Chronic complaints, we recommend following a total course of 4 months (2 months phase 1, 2 months phase 2).

Small dogs and cats need 1 package for a duration of 8 weeks phase 1 and 8 weeks phase 2. This package consists of 1 package of Enzyme mix 2, chlorella/spirulina/alfalfa, vitamin C, curcumin, prebotica, fulvic and humic acid, kefir and vit B complex.

Medium-sized dogs of 10-30kg body weight have 2 packs of each for a treatment duration of 8 weeks phase 1 and 8 weeks phase 2. This package consists of 2 packs of Enzyme mix 2, chlorella/spirulina/alfalfa, vitamin C, curcumin, prebiotics, fulvic and humic acid, kefir and 1 pack of vit B complex.

Very large dogs over 30kg need 4 packs of each for a treatment duration of 8 weeks phase 1 and 8 weeks phase 2. This package consists of 4 packs of Enzyme Mix 2, chlorella/spirulina/alfalfa, vitamin C, curcumin, prebiotics, fulvic and humic acid, kefir and 2 packs of vit B complex.
