Oncology support bundle
Description
Your animal has been diagnosed with cancer. This bundle has been developed as a supplement to the oncological treatment of your veterinarian. We explain what is going on biologically besides the tumor, why system support is useful, and what we recommend throughout the treatment process.
Regular oncology treats the tumor. We support the body that has to live with it.
Surgery, chemotherapy and radiation are often necessary and life-prolonging for cancer. They are rightly at the heart of oncological care. But cancer is not an isolated organ problem. It is the visible endpoint of a biological process that has built up over years in the immune system, the microbiome, the mitochondria and the inflammatory balance.
The tumor is treated. The biological landscape in which that tumor originated still exists. That is what the oncology support bundle focuses on.
What the bundle does and doesn’t do
Nutrition for cancer: what we recommend
Tumor cells live on glucose via the Warburg effect: they prefer to ferment glucose, also in the presence of oxygen. Ultra-processed dry food with a high glycemic load feeds this mechanism directly. At the same time, ultra-processed nutrition enhances dysbiosis and increases the systemic LPS burden that maintains the pro-inflammatory tumor microenvironment.
Our nutritional advice for oncology patients
Our advice: phased support during the treatment process
The phasing follows the treatment process. In early and active treatment phases, the emphasis is on gut repair, immune support, and side effect mitigation. After the intensive treatment, the focus shifts to mitochondrial repair and long-term immune resilience.
In oncological patients, the intestinal barrier is often already affected by the tumor, stress or chemotherapy. A disrupted gut barrier increases the systemic LPS burden that maintains the pro-inflammatory tumor microenvironment. Immune modulation belongs in phase 1 because NK cell activity and macrophage balance are disrupted early on in oncological patients. Waiting until later lacks the therapeutic logic. Myco Immune Complex activates NK cells via beta-glucans and modulates macrophages towards an M1 phenotype that recognizes tumor cells instead of protecting them.
Liposomal lactoferrin activates NK cells and dendritic cells and sequestrates iron that tumor cells use as growth factor. Omega-3 modulates the eicosanoid balance towards anti-inflammatory prostaglandins and supports muscle maintenance in cachexia. Para Reset activates AMPK via berberine which inhibits mTOR signaling and Warburg metabolism. Note: Carefully coordinate Para Reset timing around chemotherapy, see comment below. PEA & Boswellia support comfort and inhibit pain in case of bone invasion or chronic discomfort.
* Do not use Para Reset in the 48-72 hours surrounding chemotherapy administration in chemotherapy that acts via oxidative mechanisms (doxorubicin, platinum derivatives). Always coordinate with the treating oncologist.
Longevity Support restores mitochondrial biogenesis and serum activity through NAD⁺. Resveratrol activates SIRT1 with additional AMPK activation. Liposomal CoQ10 restores the electron transport chain, which is especially relevant in doxorubicin use because it can cause CoQ10 depletion and cardiotoxicity. Liposomal glutathione restores the antioxidant capacity after oxidative treatment load. Myco Adaptogen Complex supports the HPA axis in animals with chronic stress burden due to illness and treatment.
Cancer is also a systemic disease after remission. The biological landscape that made tumor formation possible still exists. Coriolus versicolor, present in the Myco Immune Complex, is the best clinically based medicinal mushroom in oncology support, with demonstrated survival prolongation in canine hemangiosarcoma. Long-term use as maintenance is mechanistically indicated.
What can you expect and when?
Intestine stabilized. Less nausea and better appetite. Immune activation started via mushrooms.
Immune function improved. Fewer side effects chemotherapy. Muscle preservation noticeably better.
Mitochondrial repair. More vitality and resilience. Better quality of life.
Maintenance active. Immune resilience built. Biological landscape permanently supported.
Always inform the treating oncologist about the supplementation, especially with active chemotherapy. Para Reset and antioxidants require specific timing around chemotherapy. In complex oncological situations, always schedule a personal consultation.

This bundle is educational in nature and does not replace veterinary consultation or oncological treatment. The Oncology Support Bundle is only intended as a supplement to regular veterinary treatment. Always inform the treating oncologist about the supplementation. In active chemotherapy, timing of specific supplements is essential.
